NOW HIRING Metal Finishers / Grinders in North Salt Lake, UT!
Are you experienced in metal grinding, sanding, deburring, or fabrication? We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join a busy metal manufacturing facility!
In this hands-on role, you'll use grinders, sanders, and other tools to smooth, finish, and prepare metal components while ensuring quality and production standards are met.
Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek, weekly pay, and three-day weekends! Both day and swing shifts are available!
Available Shifts & Pay
Day Shift
- Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
- $17–$20/hr, depending on experience
Swing Shift
- Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM–2:00 AM
- $17–$20/hr DOE + 10% Shift Differential
Responsibilities
- Grind, sand, deburr, and smooth metal parts and components.
- Remove welds, sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections.
- Operate handheld grinders, sanders, and other power tools.
- Inspect finished metal components for quality and consistency.
- Follow production instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in metal grinding, finishing, deburring, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred.
- Experience using grinders, sanders, and other hand or power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify surface imperfections.
- Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on production tasks.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the full scheduled shift.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
