CMM Programmer

A prominent Aerospace & Automotive manufacturing company in Macomb County is seeking an experienced CMM Operator to join their growing quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with high-precision components in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect precision-machined components

Utilize PC-DMIS software for running programs and performing dimensional inspections

Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings

Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections

Document and report inspection results accurately

Identify non-conformances and communicate findings to Quality and Production teams

Maintain calibration records and ensure compliance with aerospace/automotive standards

Qualifications:

2+ years of CMM operating experience in a manufacturing environment

Strong experience with PC-DMIS (program editing and running programs required)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TExperience inspecting tight-tolerance, precision components

Aerospace and/or Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred

High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
