Job Description & How to Apply Below

Turn data into clarity and clarity into impact.

How do you make our customers happy?

At bol, we’re building a platform that empowers millions of customers and tens of thousands of partners to find, sell, and interact with the right products — at the right time, in the right way. As a Product Analyst, you help make that possible. You do this by uncovering insights that sharpen product strategies, validating ideas through experimentation, and keeping teams focused on what drives real value — for users and for the business.

You’ll work at the intersection of data, technology, and product. Your job is to translate user behavior into clear opportunities, challenge assumptions with evidence, and enable your team to build better, faster, and smarter. Whether you’re helping define OKRs, analyzing customer journeys, or measuring the impact of product changes, you’re the voice of clarity in a world of complexity.

What you’ll do as a Product Analyst

You’ll be part of the Data, Analytics & AI (DAAI) department — bol’s engine for scaling data-driven decisions — while embedded in a cross-functional product team.

  • Partner with Product Managers to define and track OKRs, ensuring product teams stay focused on meaningful outcomes.
  • Design, own, and evolve metrics that align with both user and business goals.
  • Dive deep into behavioral and business data to surface opportunities and shape product strategy.
  • Translate complex findings into actionable recommendations and compelling stories.
  • Design experiments and apply causal inference techniques (e.g. A/B testing, difference-in-differences) to validate hypotheses.
  • Measure and explain the impact of product decisions — and continuously iterate.
  • Build scalable dashboards and data models that empower your team with self-serve insights.
  • Ensure data quality and measurement integrity from the ground up.
What you bring
  • Fluency in SQL, Git, dbt, and a strong grasp of statistics fundamentals.
  • Comfort with tools like Python, Looker, Big Query, Airflow, and Jupyter Notebooks.
  • A pragmatic understanding of product development and where analytics fits in.
  • Experience with causal inference and experimentation frameworks.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and the confidence to challenge the status quo with data.
  • Excellent communication skills — you influence without authority and bring teams with you.
  • A sharp eye for what matters and a bias for meaningful action.
Why you’ll make the difference

You care what happens after the insights are shared. You don’t just produce dashboards — you help your team think differently, move faster, and deliver smarter outcomes. You thrive in complexity and ambiguity, and you know that data only becomes valuable when it drives better decisions. You’re a systems thinker, a curious investigator, and an energetic collaborator. You challenge assumptions, surface blind spots, and make the people around you better.

That’s how you’ll help build the future of the bol platform.

3 reasons why this is (not) for you

Pros
  • Learn and develop
You’re excited to grow your skills in analytics, product thinking, and modern software development — and you thrive in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment.
  • Moving forward
You draw energy from experimenting, problem-solving, and writing SQL and Python that actually drive impact.
  • Sharing is caring
You actively share knowledge, challenge your team, and believe continuous improvement applies to people and processes alike.
Cons
  • Wallflower You're hesitant to voice your opinion or tend to fade into the background during discussions.
  • One trick pony
Your job ends at delivering the analysis, and you don't care what happens next.
  • Old school
You're stuck in your ways and distrust new methods — experimentation, iteration, and learning are how we roll.
