We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join the Global Security, Risk and Compliance Team. The Security Awareness & Human Risk Intern supports the Security Team in strengthening the organization’s security culture, with a particular focus on human-related risks. This role contributes to the enhancement of our existing security awareness program by bringing creativity, structure, and clear communication to awareness initiatives.

A project outline is already set up, yet there is room for you to shape the internship in a way that fits your interests as well as your school’s requirements.

• Support the identification and assessment of human factor risks in daily business processes
• Contribute creative input to the ongoing development of the security awareness program (e.g., campaigns, messaging, training concepts)
• Assist in creating and refining awareness materials, ensuring complex security topics are communicated in a clear and engaging way
• Help coordinate awareness-related activities, timelines, and internal communications
• Work closely with the Security Team to collect feedback and evaluate the impact of awareness initiatives
• Participate in the preparation of presentations, documentation, and internal guidelines

• Actively enrolled throughout the duration of this internship in a relevant HBO or Master’s degree program at a Dutch university.
• Background in cybersecurity, with understanding of core security concepts and risks.
• Strong interest in the human element of security and behavioral aspects of risk.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset and willingness to contribute new ideas to improve awareness and engagement.
• Proactive attitude and ability to collaborate within a team environment.

• This is a fulltime internship position. This role will operate on a required hybrid schedule – on average 3 days in the office and 2 days remote per week.
