The RoleAre you interested in antibody engineering and eager to explore how antibody format design influences biological function? Join us in the Format Development Group in the Antibody Research & Technologies (ART) department at Genmab in Utrecht. During this internship, you will support ongoing research aimed at developing and characterizing novel antibody formats. You will work alongside Research Associates and Scientists, gaining practical experience in protein handling, sterile cell culture, and a range of functional assays that help reveal how different formats behave.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the Format Development Group in exploring a research question related to antibody format design and function.
Learn and apply a variety of laboratory techniques, including:
- Mammalian cell culture with a strong emphasis on sterile technique
- Protein handling, purification, or conjugation workflows
- Flow cytometry–based assays to binding or other functional readouts
- Cell-based functional assays
Accurately record experimental results and observations in the appropriate systems.
Contribute to maintaining a collaborative, organized, and high-quality laboratory environment.
