Production Operative

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a hands‑on Production Operative to join one of our prestigious clients in the engineering/fabrication industry in the ST10 area (temp to perm for the right candidate). This would be ideal for someone who has worked in manufacturing/engineering and wants a role in which they can learn and develop.

Start date: ASAP

Location: Stoke on Trent (ST10)

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00-16:30 (four‑day week). Friday morning may be required during busier periods.

Pay rate: £13.28 per hour, overtime paid at £17.70 per hour after 37 hours.

• Fitting Bollhoff components to counterweights
• Carrying out general production and fabrication tasks
• Operating basic workshop tools and equipment
• Following drawings, instructions, and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area

• Liaising with the management team on faults/issues during early stages to ensure customer satisfaction

• Ideally experience in a similar role; experience in a manufacturing/engineering role also considered
• Experience using hand tools (a pistol drill would be advantageous)
• Great attention to detail
• Willingness to learn
• Great attitude towards work, taking pride in the results of your hard work
• Reliable and flexible
