Who are we looking for?We require a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer based in Uttoxeter. You will be trained and expected to work at several of our client’s premises, providing holiday and sickness cover with the possibility of a permanent assignment.

- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- A valid SIA Front‑Line License – essential.
- A full UK manual driving licence – essential.
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards.
- Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carry out regular patrols and record activities per Corps and customer requirements.
- Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign‑in, and sign‑out of the site.
- Record the entry and exit of deliveries, process paperwork according to quality procedures.
- Ensure patrols are carried out to the correct standards.
- Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours provision, if applicable.
- Comply with site waste management procedures.
- Complete required documents: daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and site‑specific reports.
- Familiarise yourself with assignment instructions, risk assessments, and other safety documents; advise the Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on changes or recommendations.
- Maintain training records via the Corps Colleague Portal; keep first‑aid and fire‑marshal training current.
- Continuously apply SIA skills, maintain professionalism, and always display your licence.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.
