Senior Clinical Fellow – Anaesthesics

Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Fellow post in Anaesthesics at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. These posts are for 6 months - 1 year.

The post holder will work in a 1 in 8 EWTD compliant rota to provide anaesthetic cover in main theatres and support the on call anaesthetic team when necessary, including obstetric anaesthetist and ICU. The role will cover work at both sites:
The Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital.

• Theatres / Anaesthesia and Perioperative care, including pre-operative assessment
• Pain and analgesia service
• Transfer of patients to other hospitals
• Resuscitation service

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.

The safety and well-being of our patients and of our staff is paramount and we are making urgent improvements to address this – particularly in infection prevention and control.
