Permanent LA Micro Group is a leading provider of enterprise IT hardware, specialising in refurbished servers, storage, networking and components. With a strong presence in the secondary market and a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture, were now looking to recruit a Senior Buyer to help us expand our purchasing capabilities and strengthen supplier relationships. This role is ideal for a commercially minded, tech-savvy individual with strong experience in ITAD / End-User Buyback and a track record of managing complex supply relationships.

Key Responsibilities Own and manage direct purchasing of Dell enterprise hardware (servers, storage, networking). Build and maintain supplier relationships in the ITAD and cancelled order/return purchase markets. Source and negotiate the purchase of Intel and AMD CPUs, memory, and components at competitive rates. Identify and drive manufacturer-direct purchasing opportunities offering significant savings. Manage all aspects of the procurement process from sourcing and negotiation to PO placement and stock reconciliation.

Analyse and monitor historical vs current costs, purchase volumes, and foreign exchange impacts. Generate accurate reports on purchasing performance, trends and forecasts. Utilise ERP systems (e.g., NAV) to create POs and maintain procurement data integrity. Work closely with sales, warehouse and testing teams to meet delivery schedules and stock requirements.

What Were Looking For Proven experience in enterprise IT hardware procurement (especially Dell). Strong existing network within the ITAD and secondary hardware space. Hands-on experience buying returns/cancelled orders and managing reverse logistics suppliers. Demonstrated ability to negotiate and drive savings on high-volume, high-value purchases. ERP experience (Priority or NAV desirable). Confident communicator with good analytical and Excel skills. Detail-oriented, commercially aware and resilient under pressure.
