Senior Accounting Manager

We are looking for an organized and driven Senior Accounting Manager to join our growing team at Pubco Reporting Solutions, Inc. We are a boutique accounting firm located in Vancouver, BC specializing in financial reporting and CFO advisory services for publicly traded companies on Nasdaq, Amex, TSX, CSE, OTC Markets in Canada, United States and internationally. We are trusted business partners to our clients, providing peace of mind through prompt, high quality, and personalized service.

• Staff supervision and guidance, file review and project management.
• Preparation of working papers and supporting schedules, financial statements and footnotes under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Preparation of MD&A on quarterly/annual reports.
• Liaison with auditors, lawyers and clients on quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Potential CFO appointment for publicly traded companies.
• Other projects/tasks as requested by management.

• 5 – 10 years accounting experience either preparing financial statements for publicly traded companies or auditing publicly traded companies.
• 2 – 5 years senior management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software (QBO and Caseware).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or related field preferred.
• Experience with internal controls/SOX compliance is an asset.

• Strong ability to work well independently and as part of team.
• Must be efficient and have excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to take ownership and oversight of multiple client relationships and staff oversight.

• $100,000 to $120,000 per annum plus bonus depending on experience and qualifications.
