As a Senior Accountant, you will apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices working with public and private clients.

Our Vancouver office is seeking Senior Accountants for our Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) industry group.

What You Will Do

• Conduct external audits and lead teams in this regard.
• Assist with developing the audit plan and execute the audit of financial statements and notes thereto.
• Identify, analyze and conclude on accounting issues.
• Lead engagement teams in the field and coach and mentor junior staff members.
• Maintain continuous communication with Managers and Partners about audit progress.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client management.
• Provide high-value service to help companies assess risk and ensure transparency.
• Work beyond normal hours when required, with flexibility for personal matters.

As an Audit professional, you will provide a high-value service, helping companies assess their risk and ensure transparency across operations.

What You Bring To The Role

• Undergraduate degree
• Successful completion of the CFE or working towards a CPA designation
• 3-5 years of experience in public accounting using IFRS, with publicly listed and/or private clients.
• Experience with financial institutions or real estate clients is desirable but not required.
• Excellent client service skills and strong communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, organization, and planning skills.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range

The expected salary range is $59,500 to $94,500, potentially with bonuses, based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive rewards program.
