Senior Financial Services Business Analyst

Lead business analysis for financial transformation initiatives in Vancouver, using requirements gathering and stakeholder workshops within a hybrid model.

This 12-month contract supports a Program Management Office across strategic, technical, regulatory, and enterprise initiatives. The Business Analyst works with business stakeholders, technology teams, SMEs, and vendors to translate needs into practical technology solutions. Candidates need banking, wealth management, financial services, or fintech experience.

• Gather requirements through discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops
• Create business requirements, process maps, workflows, and user stories
• Conduct gap, feasibility, and impact analyses
• Support solution design, testing, implementation, and change management
• Identify dependencies, risks, and impacts across work streams

• Five-plus years of financial services Business Analyst experience
• Transformation, modernization, migration, or conversion initiative experience
• Agile and Waterfall delivery methodology knowledge
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
