Position Overview
Community Manager, GBA & Talent Acquisition Support — Senior Designer with M Moser Associates. You will take the lead on projects, from the very first client interviews through project close out, including contributing to working drawings, and you will help enhance our business externally (client facing) and internally (talent and office) with a shared vision.
Primary Responsibilities- Leading project teams and consultants to uncover integrated, innovative, and interdisciplinary solutions to design problems
- Delivering and winning design presentation opportunities on a regular basis
- Consulting with clients to establish design concepts and parameters, including how space will function, budget considerations, and aesthetic preferences
- Generating conceptual designs using a variety of graphic techniques, and working with PM to prepare preliminary cost estimates
- Guiding the work of Design Team on written specifications, working drawings, and construction documents, including verification that designs meet applicable building codes where necessary
- Establishing and maintaining trust between the project team, client and other project stakeholders
- Monitoring and maintaining a high level of design quality within the project team
- Problem-solving project design issues and applying inventive solutions
M Moser Associates seeks an accomplished Senior Designer who can lead projects from initial client interviews through project close out, including contributing to working drawings. Success requires extensive experience with the entire project lifecycle, a track record of delivering compelling ideas for corporate workplace clients, and the ability to captivate and inspire clients and team members.
Qualifications & KeyCompetencies:
- 8-15 years minimum experience in workplace interior design or architecture (minimum of 3 years’ local project experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design or another related field preferred
- Proficiency in Revit, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), In Design
- Strong presence in the market with active engagement in industry events
- Impressive track record of satisfied clients and a portfolio of signature conceptual design work, including workplace transformation projects
- Knowledge of local codes, permitting, and designing toward target budget while maintaining design quality
An annual salary in the range of CAD $80,000 to $100,000
