The Division of Respiratory Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Vancouver Coastal Health invites applications for a Lung Transplant Respirologist. This position is based at Vancouver General Hospital. The successful candidate is expected to obtain a Clinical Faculty position within the Division of Respiratory Medicine, Department of Medicine, UBC.
Qualifications- Eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC - Full or Provisional
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership - Mandatory
- Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - Preferred
- At least one year of structured transplant respirology training or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in clinical management of lung transplant patients, including pre-transplant assessment, peri-operative, and long-term management, as well as donor assessment.
- Interest or experience in teaching, clinical research, and quality improvement is an asset.
