General Cardiologist

Come work as a General Cardiologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! The Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Division of Cardiology invites applications from outstanding Cardiologists with expertise in Clinical Cardiology. This position is based at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH), a University of British Columbia (UBC)-affiliated teaching hospital.
The VGH Division of Cardiology is actively involved in the care of patients with a wide spectrum of cardiovascular disease with catchment from throughout British Columbia. The position at VGH will primarily involve ambulatory general cardiology clinic, inpatient cardiology consultation and ward service.
Responsibilities
Provide ambulatory general cardiology clinic care.
Deliver inpatient cardiology consultation and ward service.
Engage in teaching and research activities as a clinical faculty member of the UBC Division of Cardiology.
Support the development and growth of UBC Cardiology education and research programs.
Qualifications
RCPSC designation in Internal Medicine and Cardiology or equivalent.
Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia.
Excellent communication skills.
Potential for excellence in teaching and research.
Exceptional work ethics and collegiality.
Desirable
Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC).
