Our Ideal Candidate
You are a dynamic and experienced environmental professional with a passion for construction and heavy industry. As our Regional Environmental Lead / QEP, you’ll be a go-to leader in British Columbia and Alberta for projects requiring expert environmental strategy, regulatory compliance, and onsite support. With a blend of technical knowledge and business acumen, you’ll help expand our environmental presence, guide project teams, and ensure top-tier client service.

A Day in the Life
Serve as the local QEP on a range of projects, supporting permitting and regulatory compliancePlanning, organizing, and managing a diverse array of projects, people, and tasks.Successfully managing project delivery through cost-efficient and timely completion of deliverables.Lead the development of environmental management plans, permitting applications, and related documentationConduct or coordinate pre-disturbance assessments and on-site environmental monitoringOversee and manage environmental scopes of work across BC and AlbertaWrite technical reports and support high-quality proposal submissionsSupport business development initiatives and help build environmental service offerings in the regionWork closely with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and Indigenous communitiesWhat You’ll Bring to the Team
B.Sc. in earth/environmental science, biology, forestry or related fieldPossess a professional designation (i.e., R.P.Bio., P.Biol., PAg, or similar) and be a member in good standing of the professional body7-10 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects with limited supervisionBroad based experience in heavy industrial/civil construction sector including but not limited to: water quality, fisheries, plants, wetlands, ESC, contaminated sites, etc.Experience with environmental monitoring and compliance inspectionsAbility and willingness to work in a variety of field settingsDemonstrated experience with technical writing, reporting, and communicationKnowledge of environmental regulations, policies, permits, and legislation in BC and AlbertaStrong interpersonal skills and collaborative working styleProvide mentorship and training for our environmental professional teamStrong problem solver able to address challenges with effective solutions that improve systems and/or relationships, and with the ability to think outside the boxUnderstanding of markets and business development opportunities an assetExperience in working with multi-disciplinary teams to meet objectives, develop programs to manage risks, and maintain complianceValid driver's licenseWhat’s in it for you?
