In
the role of Quality Manager, we'll count on you to:
Serve as member of project team that assists in development of project-specific Quality Management Plans and works in close cooperation with the Project Manager and Task Leads for monitoring and oversight of project quality activitiesMonitor QM needs for project/programWork with Program/Project Managers to assess and incorporate lessons learned and client feedback from project reviews and client meetingsWork with the Project Manager in development of project-specific QMPs and verify that QMP is current and up to dateReport production risk areas to the Program/Project Manager and Regional Quality DirectorProvide internal and external project reporting on quality-related activities, issues and corrective actionsVerify adequacy of internal quality reviewsEstablish project quality processes and monitor implementation and effectiveness of those processesMonitor implementation of company standards and practices as appropriateEffectively implement and use company, client or regulatory document management expectationsManage quality deliverable schedule, and ensure coordination between design discipline reviewsManage design review and comment resolution process (schedule meetings with reviewers, negotiate mutually acceptable resolutions, escalate disputed issues, and track open comments to closure)Assist in identifying and documenting issues that may cause, or contribute to, deviations from planned/expected outcomes and develop corrective action plans to address issuesOversee subconsultant quality activities and deliverable reviewConduct conformity reviews in accordance with QMSTrain project/program staff on QMP/PMP requirementsVerify that project teams have team members with right experience and capabilityLead QA/QC-related discussions during project team meetingsProvide mentoring through regularly scheduled conformance reviewsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of architecture and construction industryAble to work at our Richmond location 2 days/weekRequired QualificationsA minimum of 6 years in similar consulting industry and a minimum of 5 years in specific technical area coveredDeep understanding of QMS fundamentalsProven skills in the areas of Project Management and/or Quality Management projectsStrong verbal and written communication with investigative interview experience and project QM software systemsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We Believe
