About UsOur Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an important part of our development process, delivering insights that support our game teams to optimize software performance and enhance gameplay.
RoleThe Associate Quality Designer will guide quality practices across QV by working with Development, Tech and Production partners. You will report to the QA Development Manager and collaborate with multiple partners to agree on the quality and feedback of new features, ensuring a thoughtful, team-driven approach to delivering a high-quality player-first experience.
Responsibilities- Lead quality process for assigned features and create test plans to ensure end-to-end coverage, identifying risks throughout development
- Help evolve the team s tools and processes, expanding capabilities and introducing more efficient and accurate practices
- Provide qualitative feedback during game testing to identify design and usability issues and contribute to a more enjoyable player experience
- Report high-impact bugs and provide feedback to improve game quality
- Use data analysis to inform test prioritization, tool engagement and QA coverage strategies
- Support identification of technical solutions and automation opportunities
- Build working relationships with development, production and design teams to ensure understanding, trust and problem solving
- Represent the QA perspective in meetings to prioritize quality standards
- Collaborate with multiple teams to guide features through project milestones for successful product delivery
- Mentor teammates and lead process improvements, sharing insights across QV to enhance organizational performance
- 2+ years of applicable work experience
- Experience making qualitative and data-driven decisions within a QA environment
- Understanding of quality assurance processes, workflows, and defect/task tracking software
- Game domain knowledge of football and gaming with a player-first mentality
- Experience working in an embedded, integrated product team (Development + QA as one)
- Ability to design test strategies and communicate them effectively
- Passion for creating high-quality player experiences
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
The ranges listed below are the pay applicants can expect for this role in these locations at the time of posting. Pay offers are determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, and business needs. In British Columbia, Canada, ranges shown reflect local market.
- British Columbia (e.g., Vancouver vs. Victoria): CAD 66,100 – 90,400
