Lead character animation on assigned feature sequences and help define performance and animation style.
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Contract and work arrangement: Hybrid/flexible, Vancouver. Union position covered by a collective agreement; contract duration is not specified.
- Test rigs and controls, develop character tests and create selected shots.
- Mentor animators, review performances and coordinate asset readiness and schedules across departments.
- At least three years as a senior animator on feature production; previous lead experience is preferred.
- Maya or comparable CG animation proficiency, strong acting and body mechanics.
- Clear feedback, communication and organization, with an understanding of animation pipelines.
