Detailed OverviewPerforms diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory therapy; assists with in-service education and provides input into program development.
ResponsibilitiesEducation and Experience
Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam. Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT). One year recent, related experience in an acute care setting. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Level
C. Possession of and maintained Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
