Pharmacy Technician – St. Paul’s Hospital & Mount Saint Joseph Hospital
Salary – CAD $34.18 per hour (full time)
Job Summary – A dedicated pharmacy team at Fraser Health Authority seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support medication distribution, inventory management, and clinical pharmacy services in a fast‑growing environment.
Rotation Details0600‑1400, 0630‑1430, 0700‑1500, 0730‑1530, 0800‑1600, 0830‑1630, 0900‑1700, 1000‑1800, 1100‑1900, 1200‑2000, 1300‑2100, 1330‑2130, 1400‑2200, 1500‑2300, 1600‑0000, 2230‑0630, 2300‑0700

- Process clinically reviewed and approved medication orders for distribution
- Receive, verify, and complete prescriptions from practitioners
- Enter orders, count, measure, package, or re‑package medications and compound sterile pharmaceutical products
- Perform final checks of dispensed prescriptions and verify order entries
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of drug and personal health information in the pharmacy information system
- Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
- Maintain accurate medication verification, quality assurance checks, and inventory records
- Distribute medications and maintain wardstock and narcotic records, fill requisitions, and identify outdated drugs
- Organize work area, stock pharmaceuticals, label containers, and maintain equipment in accordance with procedures
- Perform related clerical duties such as keyboarding, answering telephone, filing, and maintaining prescription records
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Grade 12 and completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to operate related equipment and perform keyboarding tasks
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position, organize work, and deal with others effectively
