Senior DevOps Engineer

Decode Talent is working with a rapidly growing technology company transforming how businesses handle cloud infrastructure and deployments. The platform serves enterprise clients across North America, processing millions of deployments annually. They’re looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join the Infrastructure team and help scale out cloud operations.

As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer, you’ll lead cloud infrastructure initiatives and shape the overall technical operations strategy. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with development teams to improve the deployment processes.

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS/Azure services
• Architect and maintain Kubernetes clusters for our microservices architecture
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple development teams
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Cloud Formation
• Mentor junior Dev Ops engineers and provide technical leadership
• Document infrastructure designs and operational procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support

• 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops or Site Reliability Engineering
• Strong expertise in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and services
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Circle

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, ELK Stack)

• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Dev Ops Engineer)
• Experience with multi-cloud environments
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Experience with Hashi Corp tools (Vault, Consul)
• Background in software development
• Experience with Git Ops practices
• Knowledge of compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
