Job Description Who You’ll Work WithWe’re looking for Site Reliability Engineers to join our growing Arista’s Cloud Vision‑as‑a‑Service (CVaaS) global SRE team. SREs at Arista combine a strong software engineering background, systems architecture knowledge, with a passion for operating production systems are responsible for our global Cloud Vision service fleet, ensuring scalability, reliability, and stability. You’ll have firsthand experience in being part of a rapidly growing product with a passionate group of engineers that unapologetically put product reliability and customer experience first.

Arista’s Cloud Vision is an enterprise network management and streaming telemetry SaaS offering. The Cloud Vision stack is built entirely Kubernetes‑native. Familiarity with GCP and GKE is preferred. Our technical stack includes, but is not limited to:
Golang, Python, Ansible/Pulumi, Bash. You will be expected to develop, operate, and work with many different types of databases, both directly on Kubernetes or leveraging managed DB products. We integrate with many different Open Source Software (OSS) projects that power our microservices stack, monitoring infrastructure, and much more.

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a relevant experience subject.
- 5+ years software engineering experience.
- Experience developing or managing deployments of distributed database systems or scale‑out applications for a SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in Python, Golang, and/or other languages. Expected to be comfortable in Bash and/or other scripting languages.
The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $95,000 to $145,000. Arista offers different pay ranges based on work location, so that we can offer consistent and competitive pay appropriate to the market. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location. The pay range provided reflects base pay only and, in addition, certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity.
Employees in Sales roles are eligible to participate in Arista’s Sales Incentive Plan, which pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales. US‑based employees are also entitled to benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection.
