Data Engineer – Amazon BC

Join Amazon in Vancouver as a Data Engineer and help build tools and infrastructure to analyze large volumes of data. This position is part of the Amazon Jobs for Grads program and is designed for individuals completing their technical degrees between September 2023 and March 2025. You will work on high-impact projects that drive Amazon’s mission to deliver the best customer experience.

As a Data Engineer, you’ll design and automate distributed systems for data collection and processing, maintain internal data warehouses, and build dashboards and reports used across the organization. You will also write and optimize complex SQL queries, monitor operational pipelines, and contribute to architectural plans for Amazon’s next-gen data infrastructure.

This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field with a graduation date between September 2023 and March 2025, or within the last 24 months. Candidates should have experience with SQL, ETL pipelines, data mining, and at least one scripting language like Python or Korn Shell.

This is a full-time position with a base salary between $80,700/year and $134,800/year, depending on experience. Total compensation may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and full medical and financial benefits.
