Our client in the retail, food and drug industry is looking for a Permanent Full Time - HYBRID Senior Data Analyst to leverage advanced analytics, experimentation, and big data tools to optimize loyalty programs and retail performance. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Data & Insights, this role leverages data and analytics to drive large-scale projects and insights,

Work location:
Langley, BC

Hybrid Set Up: 3 days in the office and working fully in the office by January

Must Have:

5+ years in data analytics/data science

Advanced Python coding (Jupyter Notebook environment).

Advanced SQL for building/automating pipelines.

Experimental design expertise (A/B & multivariate testing).

Predictive modeling & advanced analytics (e.g., anomaly detection, forecasting, supervised/unsupervised learning).

Visualization & reporting (Power BI or Tableau).

Cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).

Big data tools (
Spark
, Databricks)

Duties:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define business questions and KPIs.

Design and run live statistical experiments (A/B, multivariate testing).

Build and automate data pipelines (SQL) and perform advanced analysis (Python, Jupyter).

Create dashboards and reports (Power BI) to communicate insights.

Work with big data tools (Spark, Databricks) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS).

Mentor data analysts in experimentation and best practices.

Partner with IT and Data Scientists to deploy analytic solutions.
