We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Migration Engineer to lead the migration of2,600+ SQL Server databases to AWS Aurora Postgre
SQL for a mission-critical legal
accounting platform. This role requires deep expertise in both SQL Server and Postgre
SQL,
AWS database migration services, and the ability to execute large-scale, zero-downtime
migrations while maintaining data integrity and application performance.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on SQL Server experience )- Proven experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
- Hands-on experience with AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT)
- Led at least one large-scale SQL Server to Postgre
SQL migration (500+ databases)
- Strong knowledge of Postgre
SQL architecture and query planner
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with RDS Proxy or connection pooling solutions- Understanding of Postgre
SQL performance tuning (EXPLAIN, _statements)
- Experience working with .NET applications and Entity Framework Core
