Position: Senior BA/Technical Lead with Testing, Data Migration & Power BI Experience for Complex Student Information System

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Business Analyst / Technical Lead with experience in complex system implementations, data migration, testing leadership, and Power BI development to support a multi-college Student Information System (SIS) transformation.

9-month assignment with possible extension

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of Business Analysi
    s experience: requirements gathering, process mapping, and traceability
  • 5+ years leading testing
    : developing test plans, scenarios, UAT coordination, and defect management
  • 3+ years building and enhancing Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Experience supporting data migration
    , defining technical requirements, and system configuration
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills across vendors and multi
    - stakeholder teams

    • Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with SIS systems (OCSM, CAMS, course-based systems).
  • Post-secondary or public-sector experience.
  • Building analytics capability within user teams.

    • Responsibilities:

  • Gather, manage, and document requirements; support Transition to Operations.
  • Lead functional, regression, and UAT testing.
  • Build and enhance Power BI reports; develop reporting capability for colleges.
  • Support data migration and analysis; define technical requirements, configuration, and system workarounds.
  • Contribute to shared business rules, naming conventions, and user documentation.
