Highly respected brand located in Vancouver with hybrid work, 4 days a week in office.

What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology our client is looking to add a Solution Architect to their team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Management, Domain Architects, and Engineering teams to solution end-to-end systems, integrate SaaS/PaaS platforms, and shape long-term architectural roadmaps. You’ll serve as the primary technical design authority for one or more product teams, driving standards, best practices, modernization, and continuous improvement across performance, reliability, and automation.

The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise architecture experience, strong knowledge of retail/supply chain application ecosystems, and a hands‑on understanding of modern cloud, integration, and container technologies. This is a great chance to join a rapidly growing team.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment with 4 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

10+years of software engineering experience including 5+ years in architecting enterprise applications using modern integration technologies inlcuding Java and cloud technologies.

Well experienced in the Retail/Supply chain industry, familiar with application systems and business practices in this realm.

Experience solutioning end-to-end full-stack applications, integration of SaaS and PaaS systems.

Experience building technology roadmaps spanning 3-5 years.

Experience in vendor evaluation and scoring of new technologies/tools.

Compensation:
This role pays between $100-110 per hour.
