Mobile Product Designer

We’re looking for a Mobile Product Designer to join our team of humble “misfits that fit”.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Procurify is looking for a Mobile Product Designer with a breadth of experience in shaping mobile apps through user research, prototyping, user experience and interaction design for iOS and Android platforms.
You are a person with a knack for unpacking customer needs, even the unarticulated one, to build mobile products that people want to use.

What you’ll be working on
Play an integral role in identifying the right business problems to solve and delivering the right solutions to customers with measurable outcomes.Create diagrams, user journeys, and mockups of features serving different user segments.Design intuitive, user friendly interfaces for iOS and Android platforms.Work with our mobile engineering team lead and our mobile product manager to articulate a mobile product vision for ProcurifyBe an expert on our customers and be a vigorous advocate for them across the company.Gather qualitative and quantitative user data by conducting surveys, user interviews, usability testing, and analysis.Analyze existing app usage data to develop insights into user behavior and preferences, and trends.Create, maintain and apply a mobile design system and ensure design consistency across the product ecosystem.Benchmark and analyze competitor and industry-leading mobile experiences to ensure our mobile platform sets industry standards.Use and leverage metrics to drive product design and measure product success.Be a thought-partner and collaborate with mobile developers, as well as the product manager to implement innovative and impactful solutions.Participate in design team rituals and contribute to the design culture.Recommend industry practices and tools for the success of mobile design.Join annual hackathons and immerse yourself in all things fintech innovation.Who we’re looking for
3+ years of experience designing mobile apps for iOS and Android platforms.Experience in using UX and UI best practices to design high quality mobile experiences.Understanding of platform guidelines (like Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines for iOS and Google’s Material Design for Android).Experience creating and maintaining a mobile design system with consideration for principles, patterns, conventions on mobile devices.Strong understanding of the unique capabilities and limitations on Mobile (for example limited screen space, variable connectivity, camera, voice etc)Experience in using research and data driven decision making for projects.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A mobile portfolio showing UX problem solving and visually rich interfaces.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across a company, particularly with Product Managers and Engineers.Experience prototyping and testing mobile interactions with users.Humility plus strong opinions that are loosely held.WHY PROCURIFY?
