Corporate Counsel (Autodesk Consulting)
Join Autodesk to partner with Autodesk Consulting, a global professional services team that thrives on innovation and has a passion for delivering outcomes. The role will provide hands‑on, proactive, and practical legal advice on a wide range of strategic initiatives from inception to execution. You will serve as the Legal Business Partner for a dispersed global team, managing complexity, reconciling competing needs, and driving change in a responsible, ethical, and efficient manner for Autodesk customers worldwide.

- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across a wide range of commercial, IP, technology, and professional services engagements.
- Customer‑centric mindset when partnering with Sales, Product Support, or Professional Services teams in a multi‑national software company.
- Creative problem solver with proven track record in commercial law, intellectual property, data security, privacy, AI, competition law, and compliance.
- Capable of succinctly framing complex legal issues when communicating with management, both written and verbal.
- Familiar with data power and able to balance business benefits against legal risks.
- Collaborative and able to work in a highly matrixed environment, involving subject‑matter experts as needed while driving decisions and outcomes.
- Excited to work on global projects with teams worldwide.
- Authentic, respectful, and able to establish positive relationships throughout the organization.
- Curious about technology and energized by its potential to transform the world.
- Minimum 5 years of in‑house experience at a professional services, consulting, or technology company with global reach or related law firm experience.
- Exceptional judgment, creativity, and strategic thinking with practical advice balancing legal and business objectives.
- Law degree from a recognized university with strong academic credentials.
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility in a fast‑paced, limited‑direction environment.
- Customer‑centric mindset and concise drafting and communication of complex issues.
- Experience in privacy, AI, data security issues, and compliance (CIPP certification a plus).
- Sound legal and business judgment and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle change and ambiguity.
- Prepared to travel 5‑8x/year.

SalaryFor U.S.
-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $147,500 and $238,590. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. Compensation may include annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
