We are looking for a Privacy Associate who enjoys working collaboratively, providing practical solutions to clients, and contributing to a supportive team environment. Qualifications:

• 3+ years of post‑call experience in privacy law
• Experience advising employers on privacy legislation including PIPA, FOIPPA, PIPEDA
• Experience supporting clients with:
• Access to information requests
• Privacy impact assessments
• Data governance and security matters
• Cyber security and data breach response
• Privacy management programs and policies
• Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills with a practical, solution‑focused approach
• A client‑service mindset with the ability to provide clear, business‑oriented advice
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a collaborative, team‑based environment
• Interest in ongoing professional development and mentorship
• Member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia (or eligibility for transfer)
• Commitment to a management‑side practice in Vancouver or Kelowna.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $142,000 - $235,000 annually, taking into account the candidate’s skills, experience, and job‑related knowledge, as well as internal and market equity.
