Litigation Paralegal

Our client, a full-service, mid-sized law firm located in downtown Vancouver, is seeking a full-time Intermediate Litigation Paralegal to join their litigation department.

CA $80,000.00/yr - CA $90,000.00/yr

• 5–10 years of relevant paralegal experience (litigation focus preferred).
• Completion of a Paralegal program is considered an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent document drafting abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
• High level of accuracy, reliability, and initiative.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe, and eDiscovery software.
• Salary range:
  CA $80,000–CA $90,000

• A team-oriented professional with experience in insurance defence and construction litigation
  .
• Highly organized, able to work independently, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong communicator with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.

• Create, organize, and maintain document databases using eDiscovery software.
• Review files, identify legal issues, and ensure all relevant records and documents are obtained.
• Assist counsel in preparing for examinations for discovery, mediations, and trials.
• Prepare, draft, and manage legal documentation, including court applications, chronologies, and trial briefs.
