About the Firm:
A well-established, full-service litigation law firm in downtown Vancouver is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing team. With over 30 years of legal excellence, the firm has built a strong reputation for high-quality client service and exceptional advocacy.
Position Overview:
The firm is actively seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 4+ years of litigation experience. A portable practice or book of business is an asset but not required. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload and play a key role in the firm’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research, case analysis, and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies in collaboration with clients and internal teams
- Manage files from initiation to resolution with a high degree of professionalism and integrity
- Advocate for clients in court and alternative dispute resolution settings
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the firm’s reputation
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
- 4+ years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines
