Senior Security Lawyer

Our client, one of British Columbia’s most respected and well-established business and litigation law firms, is looking to add an experienced Senior Securities Lawyer with deep expertise in public corporate work to join its Business Law Group.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior-level practitioner with a strong background in securities law, looking to leverage a collaborative platform and an established client base.

Working alongside leading practitioners, many of whom are ranked by Benchmark Litigation, Best Lawyers in Canada, Chambers Canada, and Lexpert, you will be representing a broad range of clients including private individuals, large institutional organizations, emerging businesses, and mature companies.

• Lead and manage complex securities transactions, including public offerings, private placements, and M&A
• Advise on continuous disclosure, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance matters
• Serve as a strategic advisor to public companies and high-growth businesses
• Foster strong client relationships and actively contribute to business development initiatives
• Mentor junior lawyers and support internal knowledge development
• Opportunity for leadership within the Business Law Group

The successful candidate will:

• Have a JD or LLB and be a member in good standing of the Bar of British Columbia
• Have 10+ years of experience practicing securities and public company corporate law
• Have strong knowledge of TSX, TSXV, and/or CSE regulatory environments
• Have a proven ability to handle complex transactions independently
• Have an entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing a practice within a supportive firm culture
