Light Duty Cleaner

. We are looking for a dedicated cleaner to maintain our facilities and support our goal of providing best‑in‑class integrated maintenance services across Canada and the United States.

A light duty cleaner is generally responsible for cleaning tasks including but not limited to hard surface floor cleaning, carpeted area vacuuming, dusting, cleaning washrooms and kitchenettes, and the collection of garbage and recycling.

Part Time, On Call

• Participate in all training as required.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations as outlined by the Company.
• Sweep/dry mop, wash/buff floors and stairwells utilizing manual and power scrubbing equipment as applicable.
• Vacuum carpets and matting in offices and common areas. Spot clean daily and shampoo directed rugs in assigned buildings.
• Maintain and carry out preventative maintenance procedures on floor machines, vacuums, automatic scrubbers and buffers.
• Empty garbage and recycling containers, replace liners, and transport garbage/recycling to collection points.
• Ensure washrooms and kitchens/kitchenettes are fully cleaned including fixtures, appliances, door handles, walls, mirrors, countertops, partitions, waste receptacles and floors.
• Replenish supply of consumables such as toilet paper, hand towels, soap, sanitizer, etc.
• Spot clean walls, doors, kick plates, etc., removing marks and smudges from vertical surfaces.
• Clean elevator(s) as applicable.
• Monitor possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out.
• Perform high dusting and wall washing.
• Additional duties as required.

• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment; experience with auto scrubbers is an asset.
• Dependable and possess reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
