What You Can Expect- Safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair on‑ and off‑road, heavy‑duty equipment.
- Test repaired equipment and maintain proper performance.
- Work with mobile planners to ensure work orders are completed with detail and can be planned and scheduled.
- Order and maintain inventory.
- Promote a strong environmental culture and teaching environmentally friendly values and work practices.
- Foster a strong safety culture and exemplify safe work practices throughout the organization.

- CVIP certificate required or able to obtain.
- Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic or Highway Truck Red Seal Certification preferred.
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a remote camp environment.
- Electrical, hydraulic, engine, and power train proficiency.
- Physically fit to perform the duties of the position; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Pre‑Employment Testing (drug & alcohol, blood lead, and audiogram).
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Comply with all safety, health, and environmental requirements.
- Use and maintain PPE and maintain good housekeeping standards.
- Report incidents and cooperate in incident investigations.
- Assist in the resolution of health and safety matters in a timely manner.
- Participate in risk assessment and safety initiatives.
- Maintain plant and equipment within safe working limits.
Employees will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including snow and ice, as well as extreme temperatures ranging from cold to heat. The work environment may involve contact with potentially hazardous wildlife, moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the use of explosives. There is also a risk of electrical shock and exposure to vibration.
Noise levels can occasionally be loud, depending on the task or location on site.
This is a fly‑in fly‑out position based at a remote mining camp, operating on a 14‑day on/14‑day off rotational schedule. Camp accommodations and meals are provided while on site. All travel to and from the mine site is arranged through a designated travel agency and coordinated from approved flight hubs.
