Job Summary:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Nurse Call & RTLS Specialist/Technician is responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, and servicing multiple healthcare technologies including but not limited to RTLS and nurse call systems
Responsibilities:
Design, Program, Service, troubleshoot, repair, maintain and inspect RTLS and nurse call systemsDiagnosing and Troubleshoot issues with the network electronic systems and softwareCommission front-end workstations & serversDiagnosing and Troubleshoot issues with the network electronic systems and softwareAbility to troubleshoot existing installations or utilize as-built drawings and documentation where available to correct deficiencies and repair systems without supervisionProvide onsite validation and testing of RTLS and nurse call systemsEnsure customer requests and status are followed up on time and in a professional wayPerform all assigned preventative maintenance, repair and emergency service callsDevelop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with the company’s team of managers, engineers, and technicians; the client; and consulting engineers· Effectively communicate and maintain project status with Management, Contractors, and Customer.Qualifications:
Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent job-related knowledgeMust have a minimum 3 years related experience in RTLS and nurse call systemsMust be computer literate, have networking ability and a good knowledge of operating systemsMust be self-motivated and able to work independentlySystem integration and technical troubleshooting skills.Experience in system integration, network topology and Virtual Environment.Experience with Information Communication Technology design in the health care environment.Experience in delivering RTLS and nurse call solutionsTechnical writing skills to support documentation of problem resolution / solution improvementKnowledge of technology deployed in the Health Care environment.Experience in the healthcare industry is preferredThe hourly range is $28-$42
