Senior Manager – Quality Network – Assurance

The Canadian Quality Network is seeking an experienced Audit Assurance Senior Manager interested in a National Quality Network role. This role supports EY assurance professionals across the country in the performance of high‑quality audit engagements.

As part of our Quality Network team, you will support our EY Assurance group in bringing hands‑on coaching to teams to support them through audit strategy and issue resolution on a variety of topics. This role also includes active participation in several key elements of the firm’s system of quality management (SQM) and opportunities such as teaching the practice and involvement in internal and external inspections.

Responsibilities
  • Research and respond to audit methodology questions from all professional staff regarding assurance‑related matters.
  • Provide hands‑on formal and informal coaching to a variety of audit teams on various audit‑related topics.
  • Keep up‑to‑date by reading associated literature and attending appropriate educational courses for skill development.
  • Interact with members of EY Professional Practice to promote knowledge sharing.

  • Experience in facilitating internal training courses and/or external presentations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years experience on assurance engagements with experience in a variety of sizes, complexities and industries.
  • Strong technical background in Global Audit Methodology.
  • Strong research, organisational and project‑management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Completion of the CPA, CA designation.
  • High performance rating in Quality.
Desired Additional Experience
  • Strong PCAOB and ICFR experience.
  • Bilingual abilities (English/French) appreciated.

The salary range for this position in British Columbia is $95,000 to $180,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined by various factors including education, experience, skills and location.
