What you would do:

• Provision of excellence in customer service
• Access control
• Patrolling
• CCTV monitoring
• Communications, including radio, digital and incident escalations
• Incident and activity reporting
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards
• Crime prevention
• Visual deterrence
• Emergency services liaison
• Dealing with severe / escalated situations
• Demonstrate empathy when handling situations involving Vancouver's most vulnerable populations

Job Requirements:

• BC Security License (BST)
• Occupational First Aid Level 1/basic (OFA-basic)
• Occupational First Aid Level 2/intermediate (OFA - intermediate) - preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of security industry experience
• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience

• Valid BC Security License
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable, available, independent nature, of sound character and a team player
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Professional demeanor in stressful situations
