We are seeking a highly skilled Algorithm Developer to join our Vancouver-based algorithm team. This is a hands‑on role, developing and optimizing high‑performance algorithms in C and C++, driving short‑term code refactoring and long‑term feature development.

While experience with image processing and machine learning is a nice‑to‑have, the core of this role is deep expertise in C/C++ and algorithm development. This is an in‑office position, requiring presence at our Gastown office 5 days a week.

• Design and optimize software structures for algorithm‑intensive applications using C/C++.
• Develop, refactor, and optimize algorithms for performance and reliability.
• Assign and review technical tasks to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Support the sales team with technical expertise and product enhancements.

• An intermediate developer with 5+ years of experience in C/C++ development.
• Detail‑oriented, with a strong focus on performance, optimization, and clean code.
• Professional and collaborative, thriving in a high‑performance technical environment.
• Have native‑level English proficiency.

• Excellent: C/C++ programming
  , data structures, algorithm design, computer fundamentals.
• Strong:
  Object‑oriented design, software architecture.

• Familiarity with image processing algorithms.
• Knowledge of machine learning or deep learning fundamentals.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Open‑source contributions are a plus.
• Prior experience working as a developer in a SaaS company is required.

• Ability to summarize, abstract, and present technical information clearly.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for complex algorithmic challenges.
• Team coordination and mentoring capabilities.
