You’ll collaborate with a team of engineers and work closely with product and design to build highly performant, scalable, and user-friendly applications. Projects will range from enhancing our trading platform and admin tools, to building entirely new user interfaces that support institutional clients and operations teams.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead projects, mentor teammates, and set high standards for frontend quality, reliability, and design implementation.

This is a full-time, permanent position working hybrid from our Downtown Vancouver or Downtown Toronto office.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain client-facing trading platforms, internal admin dashboards, and new UI features from the ground up.
  • Integrate with Graph

QL APIs, real-time subscriptions, and internal SDKs to deliver responsive and data-rich experiences.
  • Partner with designers to translate Figma mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive components.
  • Contribute to our component library (Material-UI based), ensuring consistent design and UX across applications.
  • Implement advanced state management patterns with React Query or Redux Toolkit.
  • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
  • Optimize applications for performance, especially for real-time data, large datasets, and complex financial interactions.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure frontend best practices, code quality, and maintainable architecture.
  • Mentor junior developers, review code, and help establish frontend standards within the team.
We’d Love to See
  • 6+ years of professional frontend development experience, with deep expertise in React and Type Script.
  • Experience building enterprise-grade applications in fintech, trading, or other financial domains.
  • Proficiency with Next.js and modern frontend tooling (monorepos, pnpm, Nx, Vite/Webpack).
  • Strong understanding of Graph

    QL (schema-first development, subscriptions, caching).
  • Background in building and scaling complex state management solutions (React Query, Redux Toolkit).
  • Hands‑on experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Playwright, Storybook).
  • Experience optimizing for high-frequency real‑time data and complex UI performance.
  • Familiarity with component libraries like Material-UI (or equivalent).
  • An eye for modern UI and design.
