VoPay’s Fintech-as-a-Service platform allows any business to embed financial services and payment capabilities into their existing applications, products or services through a single and scalable API. Our Integrated technology enables product managers and developers the flexibility and speed to build cutting‑edge financial products.

VoPay is seeking a dynamic and results‑oriented Integrations Specialist to be the architect of VoPay’s 3rd‑party integrations. The ideal candidate will build, maintain, and optimize the bridges between our core platform and global financial institutions. The ideal candidate will translate the "old world" of banking (SOAP, ISO 20022, batch files) into the "new world" of VoPay’s API‑first ecosystem.

• Third‑Party Bridge Construction: Design and implement robust integrations with partners like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, MUXE, and Banking Circle.
• Protocol Translation: Navigate diverse communication methods including RESTful APIs, SOAP, SFTP‑based batch processing, and Webhooks.
• Ledger & State Management: Ensure that transaction statuses between VoPay and the 3rd party are always in sync (handling the "Pending‑to‑Success" lifecycle).
• Resiliency Engineering: Build "defensive" code. If a bank’s API goes down or returns a 500 error, your integration must handle retries, circuit breaking, and alerting without crashing VoPay’s core.
• Compliance‑First Coding: Strictly adhere to PCI‑DSS, SOC2, and regional banking regulations (e.g., NACHA for US, FINTRAC for Canada).

• Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated success in a similar role.
• Language Proficiency:
  Deep expertise in PHP, Python or other bank‑end languages.
• Data Serialization: Mastery of JSON and XML, and the ability to map complex, non‑standard data structures from banks into our internal schemas.
• Security Standards: Experience with OAuth2, mTLS (Mutual TLS), and PGP encryption.
• Database Design: Proficiency in SQL for tracking transaction logs and idempotent request handling.
• Testing Rigor: Experience with "Contract Testing".
