Build streaming pipelines and telemetry features for Amazon Traffic Engineering’s real-time edge observability platform. Work with large datasets, queries, and low-latency delivery.
As a Software Development Engineer on Edgelink ML, you will develop systems supporting Trails, Amazon’s unified edge observability platform. You will improve ingestion, data quality, query performance, and self-serve investigation capabilities. Your work will support detection, mitigation, traffic insight, and incident response systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and ship streaming pipelines for real-time telemetry ingestion
- Develop telemetry features supporting observability at scale
- Optimize queries through data layout and partitioning
- Build self-serve traffic pattern investigation interfaces
- Partner with teams to onboard telemetry sources
- Three years of professional software development experience
- Two years designing or architecting new and existing systems
- Programming experience with at least one software language
- Three years across the full software development life cycle
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred
