Sports Product Specialist – Contract

Our Client is seeking a Sports Product Specialist to be responsible for activities relating to sports betting operations. This role must combine a thorough understanding of sports betting with extensive knowledge of professional and collegiate sports and current events to maximize gambling revenues and limit liabilities, ensuring product integrity is maintained to the highest standard. The Sports Product Specialist will manage day‑to‑day betting operations, ensuring smooth processing of bets, monitoring odds, and maintaining accuracy across various betting markets.

The role involves collaborating with internal and external teams to optimize processes, troubleshoot issues, and provide an optimal experience for players while maximizing engagement.

Location:

Vancouver area – remote services allowed.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee day‑to‑day betting operations and bet processing.
• Monitor and adjust odds and lines to maintain profitability.
• Maintain accuracy across all betting markets.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Provide superior player experience and maximize engagement.
• Support live sporting events, including flexible hours (evenings and weekends).

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sports betting, casino operations, or related industry.
• Degree or diploma in Business, Sports Management, or related field.
• Analytical skills and data‑driven decision making.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under high pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible hours – evenings and weekends as needed.
• In‑depth knowledge of professional sports and online/retail sports betting.
• Familiarity with sports betting software and systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Preferred skills:

• Sports betting software experience.
• Superior computer skills.

Compensation:
Negotiable hourly rate.

Permanent, full‑time, 38 hours per week.

Location:

Sydney, Australia – City of Canada Bay Council.

Role overview:

The Team Leader – Sportsfields will maintain day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of sports fields, including Concord Oval and turf cricket wickets. Responsibilities include leading a small team, ensuring high standards of maintenance, staff safety, routine enquiry resolution, and operating machinery for development work and garden maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
• 3–5 years of experience in turf preparation and maintenance.
• Current Chemical Users certificate and General Construction Induction card (white card).
• Class ‘C’ driver’s licence.
• Experience with cricket wickets, line marking and high‑profile sports fields is desirable.
