We are currently seeking a General Warehouse Associate to join our Vancouver team. The successful candidate will assist with general warehouse duties efficiently and accurately.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to
:

• Provide superior customer service and retrieve orders.
• Assist in gathering materials to build loads/orders.
• Assist truck drivers to load various building supplies onto trucks for delivery.
• Operate the forklifts once training and certification has been achieved.
• Help unload transport trucks with product.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) software for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Practice proper material handling techniques to ensure minimal damage to inventory.
• Keep the workspace area clean and presentable in appearance.

Requirements :

• Current Forklift Certification.
• Good knowledge of safe working procedures.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding work environment.
• Professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service.
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
• Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years previous warehouse work experience.
• Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
• Dependable and reliable.
• RF Scanner and WMS software experience preferred.
• Experience and knowledge in building materials.
