Salary: $55,000–$60,000 (Depending on experience)

Role Overview
This is an entry-level to junior accounting position. We are not looking for a senior-level candidate or someone with extensive years of experience. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for supporting the finance team with full-cycle AP duties, vendor management, reconciliations, and general accounting support.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoice entry, expense reports, and payment processing
Review, code, and process vendor invoices with proper approvals
Monitor AP aging and follow up on outstanding items to maintain strong vendor relationships
Perform regular reconciliations of AP ledger accounts
Prepare and execute payments (cheques, wires, and electronic transfers)
File taxes for various Canadian provinces
Work collaboratively with procurement, sales, and operations teams to resolve billing and payment issues
Set up new vendors in the company’s business system
Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable activities
Assist with internal/external audits and support month-end and year-end closing
Perform other accounting or administrative duties as required
Qualifications
Accounting diploma or degree
Minimum 1 year of experience (AP-specific experience not required)
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal abilities
High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and adaptability
