Job title: Senior Electrical Technologist – Automation, Panel Building, Commissioning, and Design Support.

We are seeking a hands‑on and detail‑oriented Senior Electrical Technologist to join our System Build team.

In this dynamic role, you’ll build and wire control panels, field‑wire machinery, and support electrical commissioning
, while also update and modify electrical schematics (SOLIDWORKS Electrical) when design adjustments are needed. You’ll act as the bridge between the engineering design team and the production floor
, ensuring seamless collaboration, accuracy, and performance.

This position also includes mentorship and leadership responsibilities
. You’ll guide other electrical technicians, share best practices, and help onboard new team members as Pack‑Smart continues to grow.

International travel (up to 25%) will be required to support installations and commissioning at customer sites.

• Build and wire control panels, high-speed machinery, and field devices with precision.
• Interpret and modify electrical schematics (SOLIDWORKS Electrical or equivalent).
• Troubleshoot systems, identify root causes, and implement creative solutions.
• Support system commissioning and lead electrical installations during test and customer handoff.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve build and documentation standards.
• Maintain workplace organization and inventory control in accordance with company standards.

• Electrical Engineering or Technology diploma/certification (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in panel building, wiring, or automation machinery.
• 2+ years in a lead or senior electrical technician role.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control systems.
• Experience with SOLIDWORKS Electrical or similar CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, etc.).
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to travel internationally up to 25% as needed.
