The KPMG Family Office Cross Border Tax practice assists high net worth individuals and their families with complex tax compliance and advisory issues across multiple jurisdictions, and in particular the US and Canada.

What You Will Do
  • Managing client engagements including US and Canadian personal tax compliance and advisory, reviewing junior team’s work for accuracy, planning workflow for meeting deadlines.
  • Building relationships with clients and managing timely communication with them on tax matters.
  • Preparing tax-planning memos and other deliverables by conducting tax research and drafting the deliverables.
  • Providing ongoing support for junior staff’s professional development.
What You Bring To

The Role
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Canadian and US personal tax
  • The ability to lead private client engagements
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • US CPA or EA designation
  • Assets include completion of the In-depth Tax Course, experience with trust taxation and estate planning
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
Salary Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $143,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
