Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for owning and optimizing the customer journey across digital channels, with a strong focus on lifecycle marketing, automation, and paid media performance. This role plays a critical part in driving customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and lifetime value through data‑driven digital strategies. This is a hands‑on role suited for someone who enjoys building, testing, and optimizing campaigns end‑to‑end—not just coordinating execution.

Key Responsibilities Customer Lifecycle & Marketing Automation
  • Own and manage all email marketing initiatives, including campaign planning, content development, scheduling, and performance reporting
  • Design, build, and optimize end‑to‑end lifecycle programs, including lead nurturing, onboarding, retention, and win‑back campaigns
  • Develop and maintain advanced segmentation strategies to deliver targeted messaging across email, SMS, and in‑platform communications
  • Create and manage automated workflows and behavioral triggers that guide prospects and customers through each stage of the funnel
  • Analyze customer behavior and funnel performance to identify drop‑off points and conversion opportunities
  • Continuously test and optimize campaigns using A/B and multivariate testing to improve engagement, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value
Digital Advertising & Paid Media
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and META (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Build acquisition and remarketing campaigns aligned to business objectives and customer lifecycle stages
  • Develop paid media creative and messaging strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Manage budgets, pacing, and performance to ensure strong ROI and cost efficiency
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clear reporting, insights, and recommendations for ongoing optimization
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment between promotions, messaging, and customer experience
What You Bring
  • 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in digital marketing, lifecycle marketing, or performance marketing
  • Strong experience with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Hub Spot, Active Campaign, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
  • Experience supporting multi-location or multi-brand businesses
  • Proven ability to build and optimize lifecycle journeys, automation workflows, and segmentation strategies
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns across Google Ads and META platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and owning results end‑to‑end
Nice to Have
  • Experience with SMS marketing platforms
  • Exposure to CRO, landing page optimization, or CRM integrations
Location and Travel
  • This is a hybrid role, with the option to report to our New Westminster or Woodbridge offices. The position includes a mix of remote and in‑office work
  • Occasional travel may be required to support team events, conventions, and grand openings
What We Offer
  • Salary: $65,000–$70,000/year
  • Health and dental benefits
  • Paid time off and personal days
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
