The IT Developer reports directly to the IT Manager, Noranco Canada.

• Create complex SQL queries and stored procedures for new SSRS based reports.
• Develop professional SSRS reports to support business needs using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Crystal Reports.
• Create SSIS packages to extract and deliver data to end users.
• Optimize existing SQL queries and SSRS reports.
• Collaborate with Systems Administrator to enforce best practices for SQL environment.
• Create and/or maintain data warehouse.
• Maintain dashboards created by vendors and/or develop new dashboards based on VB and .NET technology.
• Work with management team to gather business requirements and develop solution.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex queries, views or stored procedures.
• Convert Access queries and/or Crystal Reports to SSRS reports.
• Able to take on development projects as business requires.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Strong understanding of SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012 and 2014.
• Strong background with T‑SQL queries, functions, triggers, views and stored procedures.
• Familiar with SSRS and SSIS deployment and management.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• .NET and VB development.
• Experience with web development, specifically web‑based dashboard development, would be preferred.

2+ years of SQL, SSIS, SSRS development.

Post‑Secondary Education in IT or related field.
